Don't Forget Grandparents Day on Sept 13th!

Grandparents are our heritage and are essential members of our families and communities. Let's not forget to set aside some special time to honor them on National Grandparent's Day.

Take this opportunity to spend some quality time with your grandparent. Have fun! Create a project together that spotlights his or her life. Or spend some time doing something special together.

And let's not forget shut-ins and those in nursing homes who are unable to be with their families or have no families. Try to make a extra effort include these special people with cards, community projects or a special visit.
